"Brass Association" is most prosperitive big band in Bulgaria. It is completed by seventeen of the most talented Bulgarian jazz musicians.
Since its establishment, the Band has had concerts with "De Phazz" on the National Palace of Culture stage, has played on "Sofia Jazz Peak", "A to Jazz Festival" and many other such. The musicians in the Band have performed on the concert of the National Bulgarian Television, recorded at the National Palace of Culture (with director Monica Yakimova). It has regular gigs at "Sofia Live Club" and "Studio 5" clubs in Sofia. Their first concert was on the "New Academy" stage in the National Music School. The first concert tour of Angel Zaberski Big Band "Brass Association" was in Italy, starring a guest conductor and performing the music of Bernstein and Duke Ellington. Their first studio album is already a fact- created at "Sofia Live Club" (for the first time the club has been used for such aim) and consisting of nine pieces, specially composed and arranged for the formation by Angel Zaberski, who is also the leader of the orchestra, and arrangements of the jazz standarts "Alone Together" and "Litlle Sunflower" (the album is being released now). For sound engineer was invited Alan Hadjistefanov from Skopie.
Angel Zaberski Big Band "Brass Association" has co-starred with Peter Momtchev- sax, Todor Tzatchev- bariton sax, Dimitar Dimitrov- drums, Vladimir Mitin- trumpet, Tzvetan Troyanski- trombone, Hilda Kazasyan- vocal, Peter Salchev- vocal, Camelia Todorova- vocal, Vassil Petrov- vocal.
